I attended UC- Irvine for my bachelor's degree in biology. I also minored in psychology. I started tutoring as a high school student, helping students learn math and science topics. I continued on in college, and added physics and calculus to my repertoire. I like to tutor because I get the opportunity to work with students individually and modify my teaching style based on the needs of each student. I enjoy tutoring students in science and math topics because I think the subjects present puzzles and challenges that seem difficult at first, but can become fun and enjoyable once the concepts are mastered.
